1. 1.     Cut the braided sleeving with a standard pair of scissors.  When cutting, tightly hold back about 1/2" with your fingers so that the sleeving does not unravel. 
2. 2.     Use a lighter or any small open flame to singe the freshly cut end of the sleeving.  You just need to lightly melt the sleeving ends so they do not unravel during installations.
3. 3.     If you want a cleaner more professional install you can use a heat shrink or our heat shrink servo labels to seal the ends once installed.
